Having tested a variety of materials including bamboo, wood, steel and plastic sheeting we decided to design our installation with plastic pipes. The blue pipe is synonymous with Thai building sites and can be seem everywhere around the city. This pipe that can be easily obtained by people to replica some of the deigns featured in the exhibition, for example in ways to harness water to cleaning or for watering plants.
Basic trolley structure with wheels for mobility around the site and for installation. Media system and recycle bins will be placed inside this cube.
Pipes can be interconnected for designing different structures.

Maria N. Stukoff is working in collaboration with Bangkok's architecture agency Apostrophy' s - to explore Victory Monument as a site for a new public art work commissioned by British Council Thailand. This project is part of the Asia-Pacific Creative Cities project and will be launched as part of Change Bangkok during Bangkok Design Festival in October 2009.
